The storm’s impact disrupted air travel, resulting in over 1,300 flight cancellations nationwide, even affecting US Vice President Kamala Harris’s travel plans. Harris’s spokesperson clarified that her aircraft, departing from Atlanta, had to reroute to Virginia due to adverse weather conditions while returning to Washington DC.
