Death toll has risen to 97 in Pakistani monsoon rains, where 49 were killed in the Balochistan province after flooding, authorities have announced. A total of 97 people were killed across the country, including 17 people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in the northwest of the country, 11 in Sindh, 10 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 10 more in other regions. More than 100 people were injured in the floods so far.
Two highways and 5 bridges became unusable and 5 shops were severely damaged after heavy rains. Thousands of cattle perished, while 226 houses were destroyed.
