The death toll from yesterday’s landslide in Pueblo Rico, in the northwest of Colombia, has reached 27 including 3 children, the country’s President Gustavo Petro said in a statement. Petro expressed his condolences to the families of the victims, and added that search and rescue efforts continue in the disaster area.

Peskov accused European countries of obstructing dialogue but insisted Moscow remains ready for negotiations.
Russia and Ukraine held three rounds of direct talks this year in Istanbul, leading to prisoner exchanges but little progress toward ending the war.
