A total of 76 people have died and 22 others have gone missing so far in floods caused by heavy rains in Iran. Stating that 24 states in the country were affected by the flood, Iranian Red Crescent Relief and Rescue Head Mehdi Vallipour said, “The capital, Tehran, is the province most affected by the flood and where the most loss of life was experienced. 43 people died in the flood in Tehran alone,” he said.
