The number of people who lost their lives in floods and landslides caused by heavy rains in Japan has risen to 6. Additionally, it has been reported that 2 people in Saga state and 1 person in Oita state are still missing.
While announcing that the heavy rains will gradually subside starting today, the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) has warned of the possibility of new landslides occurring.
