The death toll in the suicide bombing attack on a mosque by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in the city of Khyber Peshawar, Pakistan, reached 90 and the number of injured reached 200.
During the noon prayer, the blast caused the mosque’s roof to collapse, trapped several people beneath the rubble. The imam of the mosque, Sahibzade Noor Ul Amin, was also killed in the attack.
While search and rescue are ongoing, hospitals in the city have declared a state of emergency.
