The death toll from the earthquakes that struck the Mediterranean region of Türkiye and caused substantial damage in 10 cities in Türkiye and nearby Syrian cities has increased. The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) announced that the death toll has climbed to 3,419 and the number of the injured is currently 20,534. The injured are being sent to hospitals in various provinces and numerous rescue personnel and volunteers are heading to the disaster areas from different regions.
