The death toll from Hurricane Roslyn, which devastated western Mexico, has risen to four. The hurricane caused flooding, landslides, and storms in parts of the state of Nayarit, as well as Sinaloa and Jalisco. Many trees and electricity poles were destroyed in the region, and roads to some towns were closed to traffic.
The Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) of Mexico announced that 136,000 people had been cut off due to damage to power lines and that more than 800 workers were working to restore power.
