Floods triggered by heavy rainfall in southern Thailand have claimed 25 lives since November 22, according to the Disaster Prevention Center. Over 664,000 homes across 10 provinces have been affected, and around 29,000 residents have been evacuated to temporary shelters.
The Meteorological Service has warned of continued heavy rainfall until December 5, with risks of flash floods and inundations in mountainous, low-lying, and water-adjacent areas. Authorities are urging residents to remain vigilant.
