According to Syrian state television, the death toll of the submerged boat that departed from Lebanon has increased to 94. Syria’s Ministry of Transportation stated that the boat departing from Minyeh, Lebanon left the country with from 120 to 150 immigrants to disembark at Europe.
Samer Qubrusli, Syrian director general of ports, had announced that 34 were found dead in a migrant boat on the shores of the Syrian port city of Tartus. Qubrusli stated that 14 people on the boat were rescued.
