The death toll from the explosion at the Oba Makarna factory in Sakarya’s Hendek district on September 15 has increased to four, following the death of 26-year-old Merve Menteş. Menteş, who was set to marry in one month, passed away while receiving treatment at Istanbul Kartal Education and Research Hospital. The explosion initially killed one person and injured 30 others. Over the past weeks, three more victims, including Mesut Şimay (27), Eray Kızıldağ (22), and Güven Albayrak (24), succumbed to their injuries, bringing the total fatalities to four.
