A dramatic scene unfolded in Tarsus, Mersin, as a building, flagged for structural decay, collapsed within seconds upon the touch of a digger in Mersin, Türkiye. Reports indicated that the 5-story building had received a decay report and a demolition order. Consequently, a construction company arrived, taking necessary precautions before commencing demolition. Unfortunately, as operator Mustafa Ergen (36) maneuvered the work machine, touching a building column, the structure crumbled entirely, burying part of the machine and causing slight foot injuries to the operator.
