Fifteen-year-old Enes Külekçi from Yozgat, Türkiye, has defied his speech and walking disabilities to become a celebrated artist. Enes began painting at age 4, encouraged by his family and teachers. At just 7, he held his first solo exhibition at school.
Now, Enes draws in public spaces, preparing for a new exhibition to spotlight the challenges women face. “I want to be the voice of women who endure hardships. My grandmother’s struggles inspired me,” Enes said, calling for support to address social issues.
Speaking about his latest artwork, Enes explained, “I used blue to reflect depression and red for strength. The piece represents the hidden struggles behind women’s resilience.” His father, Atilla Külekçi, credits Enes’ progress to early encouragement and his school’s art teacher.
