A truck moving behind a van carrying olive workers to a olive grove in Orhangazi district of Bursa, at 08:00, crashed into the van as it slowed to steer into the grove. Smashing the van to the olive grove, the truck caused 1 to die, and 9 nine to injure.
The driver of the van was detected to be unlicensed.
Although he step on the brake, he could not manage to slow down, said the truck driver.
An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
Settled by Urartians and later used in Byzantine and Ottoman eras, Altıntepe Castle in Erzincan’s Üzümlü district has drawn fresh attention after new drone footage showcased its hilltop ruins.
