A German shepherd dog that was taken for a walk in Ecola State Park in Oregon, USA, fell from a height of 91 meters onto the rocks at Cannon Beach. Since the beach was not reachable by foot, a coast guard team from the US Coast Guard Air Command was dispatched to the area with a helicopter. The dog was rescued by being pulled up to the helicopter with a stretcher, and its condition was stated to be good.
At least 3 people were killed and 49 injured in Russian airstrikes targeting the Ukrainian capital Kyiv early in the morning. President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the casualties, stating that all the deceased were members of the State Emergency Service. He warned the number of injuries may rise.
Zelensky reported that more than 400 drones and 40 missiles were launched across Ukraine. In Ternopil, 11 people were injured, while in Lutsk, 5 were wounded in attacks involving 15 drones and 6 missiles. Homes, schools, and government buildings were damaged.
