The Dominican Republic, the main resort for Haitian refugees trying to flee violence, expelled dozens of Haitians yesterday as a precaution against an estimated migration crisis. Many Haitians who came to Dajabon, in the Dominican Republic, to shop were sent with their products in their hands.
Haitian citizens have been battling against the violence that armed gangs are eliciting, with attacks on private properties, institutions, companies, official organizations, and prisons since last February.
