The Russian Ministry of Emergencies said that a fire broke out in a 2-storey dormitory in the city of Balashikha in the Moscow region at night. Noting that there were 13 people in the building, including 2 children, the ministry said that 5 people died and the rest were evacuated.
Russian media reported that mostly foreign migrant workers stayed in the dormitory.
