Inverted tulips, also known as “Crying Bride” flowers, are in bloom in the mountainous areas of Sason district in Batman, Türkiye. Found at altitudes over 2,800 meters, especially around Mount Mereto and Şilek Plateau, these rare endemic flowers attract nature enthusiasts despite the tough terrain.
Locals warn that picking the protected plant carries a fine of 244,000 TL. The flowers bloom for only 15 days each year, offering a short-lived but stunning natural display.
