Gathering in Lafayette Park in front of the White House in the USA, dozens of people lit candles, held a moment of silence and sent solidarity messages for more than 20 thousand people who lost their lives in the 7.7 and 7.6 magnitude earthquakes that occurred in Türkiye on February 6. As well as Turks living in the USA, Americans participated in the event, which was organized by the American Turkish Association of Washington DC (ATA-DC).
