An explosion occurred during a fireworks display at a religious ceremony held at a church in Queretaro, Mexico. The explosion, which caused widespread panic, injured 12 people. There was also damage to the church building and 10 vehicles in the surrounding area. After providing first aid to the injured on the scene, one person with severe burns on his body was taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to firefighters and civil defense officials, the incident occurred due to the uncontrolled use of fireworks. Security forces, on the other hand, stated that the church did not obtain the necessary permissions for the demonstration and seized all the fireworks in the church.
