The Iraq-based Islamic Resistance Organization announced a drone strike on a “vital target” in Eilat, Israel, as a show of support for Gaza and Lebanon. While Israel intercepted the attack, an interceptor missile malfunctioned and fell in Eilat, causing panic in the city. Amateur footage captured the incident, and investigations are underway.

Separately, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for a guided missile attack on an Israeli Merkava tank near Tayr Harfa, Lebanon, reportedly killing and injuring Israeli soldiers. The Israeli army has not commented on the incident.
