Spanish police have uncovered a 12-meter-deep tunnel used for drug smuggling between Morocco and Spain’s North African territory, Ceuta. The tunnel, equipped with a basic lighting system, was found in a warehouse during Operation Hades, though its full length remains unknown.
In the past three weeks, authorities have detained 14 people, including two police officers, and seized 6,000 kilograms of drugs. Ceuta, a key transit point for drug trafficking between North Africa and Europe, remains a hotspot for smuggling operations.
