An Irish tourist in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, broke the arm of a statue in front of the Stock Exchange building while climbing on it. The tourist, who was found to be drunk at the time of the incident, was detained at a nearby fast-food restaurant a short time later. After the incident, the authorities demanded that the tourists cover the cost of repairing the statue, which was 19 thousand dollars.
The Stock Exchange building and the statue in front of it were reopened on Saturday after three years of restoration.
