A KLM passenger plane flying from Norway to the Netherlands made an emergency landing at Torp Sandefjord Airport, south of Oslo. The aircraft skidded off the runway, stopping on grass. All 176 passengers and 6 crew members were safely evacuated, according to Norwegian police. KLM has launched an investigation into the incident.
In a separate incident, a plane at South Korea’s Muan International Airport skidded off the runway and hit a wall, resulting in 179 fatalities out of 181 people onboard, with 2 survivors.
