A 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck the county of Ninglang in southwest China’s Yunnan Province at 3:02 p.m. on Sunday, injuring 22 people, according to local authorities. The epicenter was about 60 kilometers from Ninglang, the county seat in Lijiang, and 3 kilometers from Yongning, the nearest township. The affected area, which has a seismic intensity of over 6 degrees, covers 1,389 square kilometers and is home to 24,000 people. Search and rescue operations are currently underway.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was officially received by King Charles III at Windsor Castle during his visit to England for the Coalition of the Willing meeting.
The ceremony included the Ukrainian national anthem and a guard of honor. This marks the third meeting between King Charles and Zelenskyy this year.
