An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 struck the Qades district of Badgis province in northwest Afghanistan. While many houses were destroyed in the earthquake, it was stated that 12 people were killed, including children, and 15 people were injured, according to the initial reports. “There are children and women among the victims,” Qades District Governor Mohammad Seleh Pordel said in a statement.
