After their house in Gaziantep, Türkiye was destroyed by the severe earthquakes in the country, the Çay family saved an about 4-meter-long dolphin that washed up on a shore near an hotel in Alanya, where they temporarily settled in. Reporting the situation to authorities, the family first pulled the dolphin by its tail and dragged it towards the sea with the officers. The dolphin once again started to swim and disappeared from sight.
“I have brought it back to the nature, where it belongs,” said Efe Çay, who first noticed the animal.
