The classical car race ‘The East-West Friendship Rally’, which traditionally starts in European countries and ends in Jordan, started in Türkiye’s Istanbul specifically for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye. The event, which aims to break the ice between Eastern and Western countries, started with a parade in Sultanahmet Square.
After Türkiye, the competitors will travel through Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Austria, Germany, and the Netherlands, respectively, and arrive in Belgium or Brussels on November 16.
