Russia launched an attack on Ukraine’s Donetsk and Luhansk regions. “In the last 24 hours, Russian troops have opened fire on a number of settlements in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The attacks killed at least eight civilians and injured four others. The Russian army caused damage to 56 civilian settlements, including 40 residential buildings. 1,491 people were evacuated from conflict zones by rescue teams,” a statement issued by the Ukrainian Army’s Joint Forces Group following the attack said.
