A bus carrying 49 people, including the driver, veered off the road during a business trip, and fell several meters down a slope on Khao Thone Mountain in the Prachinburi region of Thailand, killing 18 people and injuring 31 others.
According to Thai police, the bus’ brakes failed and the driver lost control of the vehicle before it overturned.
Accidents frequently occur on the steep slope descending from Khao Thone Mountain.
