Eighteen out of 37 were killed for consuming fake alcohol in Orenburg, Russia. Six are in serious condition under treatment at hospitals. Orenburg regional prosecutor’s office started an investigation after the poisoning cases, and the address where the alcohol was supplied was determined through the statements of the people who were poisoned. Hundreds of bottled fake alcohol were seized in the operation by the Russian police.
The Orenburg Regional Administration announced that people should avoid consuming unlabeled and illegal alcohol.
