British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly, who came to Israel to show Britain’s support against Hamas attacks, caused panic when warning sirens sounded during his visit to the city of Ofakim. Hearing the sirens that were activated due to the rockets Hamas fired from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory, Cleverly and his companions ran to the shelter.

Cargo Plane Skids Off Runway and Crashes Into Sea in Hong Kong

An ACT Airlines–operated Boeing 747 cargo plane (flying for Emirates) veered off the runway while landing at Hong Kong International Airport and ended up in the sea, killing two ground handling staff. The four flight crew were rescued and hospitalized. Emirates said the aircraft was leased from Türkiye-based ACT Airlines and was not carrying cargo. Authorities have opened an investigation.
