An otter was spotted in the Harşit Stream in Gümüşhane, Türkiye. The endangered otter,which is protected by international conventions, was recorded by a citizen with a smartphone camera. Footage shows that the otter was playing in the water by the brook and disappeared after a while out of the water.
Thousands gathered at Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque in Istanbul at 06:08 to perform the Eid al-Adha prayer. As the mosque filled quickly, many worshippers prayed in the courtyard and surrounding areas. Istanbul Governor Davut Gül and Police Chief Selami Yıldız also joined the congregation.
