A jerboa, which is on the “red” list of the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources, was spotted in the Lake District of Ardahan. The little mouse-like mammal, which usually appears at night, was noticed by a citizen who was grazing his animals on the Göle Plain during daytime.
Kangaroo-like feet, rabbit-like ears and mouse-like bodies are among Jerboas’ distinctive physical features.
In Gümüşhane, Türkiye, high rainfall has turned the mountain plateaus into colorful flower fields. Thirty athletes from GÜDAK hiked an 11-kilometer route through Yücebelen village, enjoying views of yellow wildflowers, inverted tulips, and mountain peaks.
Psychologist Ömer Baha Turan said, “Nature is therapy.” İlknur Çoban called the scenery “beyond expectations,” while Mehmet Tombul praised the route for its vibrant spring flowers.
