Energy crisis and power outages in Kosovo protested with blankets by Social Democratic Party of Kosovo (PSD). Demonstrators gather in front of Kosovo Prime Ministry building and lowered down the Kosovo flags front of the building and replaced them with blankets. PSD Spokesperson Natyra Kuçi said in her statement that blankets are placed as a sign of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti government surrendering to energy crisis. “The blankets we placed, like the white flag that symbol of surrender, are sign of Kurti government surrendering to energy crisis. We have a Prime Minister that says the way to avoid the cold is blanket. On the other hand, we have Economy Minister Artane Rizvanolli who blames electric consumers,” Kuçi said

Kurti recently stated that he was warmed by a blanket in his house due to the energy crisis in the country. There have been power outages lasting more than 2 hours for several days across Kosovo.

Israeli FM Saar Met with Protests in Berlin

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar was met with protests in Berlin during talks with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul. Demonstrators from human rights and civil society groups gathered outside the Foreign Ministry, denouncing Israel’s actions in Gaza and demanding Germany halt arms sales to Israel. Protesters accused Saar of war crimes and criticized Germany for its continued military support, chanting slogans like “Stop the genocide” and “Germany finances, Israel bombs.” Despite the protest, Wadephul reiterated Germany’s commitment to supplying arms to Israel.
