Şeref Akın, a Turkish citizen living in Adıyaman, found a large and distinct looking egg in his chicken coop. His niece Azra took the egg, that is twice the size of a normal one, to use it for breakfast. She saw a regular sized egg dropping into the bowl as she cracked the large egg. “I was shocked when I saw the egg. I have never seen such a thing until today.” says Azra Akın.

In Çeşme’s Ildır neighborhood, strong winds helped spread the fire, prompting the evacuation of several villages, including Germiyan, Karaköy, and Nohutlu. Meanwhile in Ödemiş, fires that broke out in Tosunlar spread overnight, leading to the evacuation of Tosunlar, Sucıktı, and Köseler. As of sunrise, 2 planes, 9 helicopters, and 35 water trucks remain active in the firefighting efforts.
