President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has arrived in Rome to attend the Fourth Türkiye-Italy Intergovernmental Summit at the invitation of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. The summit, held at Villa Doria Pamphili, will focus on boosting bilateral cooperation in trade, defense, and current global issues. Erdoğan is also set to meet with Italian President Sergio Mattarella. Key agreements are expected, including a business forum involving major institutions and companies. The trade volume between the two nations is projected to reach €32 billion in 2024.
