Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech about the Israeli and Palestinian conflicts at the 8th Extraordinary Islamic Summit. Describing the attacks that have been continuing in Gaza and Ramallah since October 7 as unprecedented barbarism, Erdoğan said that the first priority of the Islamic community is to ensure sustainable aid delivery to the Palestinians and establish a permanent ceasefire. Expressing that the Islamic community will not put “resistors defending their homeland” and “occupiers” in the same category, Erdoğan stated that they must focus on the recognition of the Palestinian State and that Israel must compensate for the destruction it has caused.
Erdoğan also stated that Israel’s nuclear weapons, which are ‘hidden from the Atomic Energy Agency’, should be revealed.
