A new Presidential Complex in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) will be inaugurated by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on May 3. Built in Lefkoşa at a cost of 4.5 billion liras, the project includes the presidential palace, parliament, and a national garden, modeled after Türkiye’s Beştepe complex. Facilities include courtrooms, a mosque for over 2,200 people, a library, and sports fields. Construction began in 2022, following Erdoğan’s 2021 visit to the TRNC.
