President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was received with an official ceremony by Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Islamabad. The ceremony at the Prime Ministry building included the playing of national anthems, a guard of honor inspection, and a respect flight by the Pakistani Air Force.
Following the ceremony, Erdoğan and Sharif held private talks and delegation meetings. Erdoğan will also attend the Seventh Meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council. Several Turkish ministers and officials accompanied him during the visit.
