Europe Proposes Multinational Force to Guarantee Ukraine’s Security

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met European leaders, US representatives, EU officials, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in Berlin, Germany. After the talks, European leaders issued a joint statement proposing a European-led multinational force to provide security guarantees for Ukraine. The leaders reaffirmed support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and said they would work with the United States toward a lasting peace and post-war recovery.
