Rota Nature Sports Club, dedicated to promoting nature awareness, has been organizing weekly events in different locations around the Lake Van Basin. Recently, their climbers conquered the 3,535-meter-high Hüdavendigar Mountain, offering stunning views of Türkiye’s highest peaks like Mount Ararat. Sedat Karacan, a club manager, highlighted the unique charm of Hüdavendigar Mountain and its rich wildlife, including wolves and foxes. After a challenging four-hour climb, the climbers celebrated by dancing at the summit, leaving a trail for future adventurers. The club aims to showcase the natural beauty of the Van Lake Basin and its mountains to a wider audience.
