An explosion rocked the oilseed processing facility operated by Saipol in Sete, France, yesterday afternoon, causing significant damage and triggering a fire. The incident, which occurred around 3:00 PM local time, resulted in heavy smoke billowing from the facility. Emergency responders swiftly evacuated around 200 individuals, while one employee sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized. Firefighters worked diligently for an hour to bring the blaze under control. The cause of the explosion remains under investigation by authorities.
