An explosion occurred at the Zagorsk optical-mechanical factory in the city of Sergiyev Posad in the Moscow region of Russia at around 10:40 local time. According to the Ministry of Emergencies, the explosion injured 25 people and damaged the windows of nearby houses. The explosion occurred as a result of the ignition of flammable materials in the factory’s warehouse, according to the authorities.
