While not officially confirmed, the Governor of Belgorod Region reported that a couple died and their daughters were injured in the incident. Traffic on the bridge has been halted, with security forces on site, and the public is advised to use alternative routes.

Social media footage showed stairwells turning into waterfalls and passengers stranded in subway cars.
Floodwaters also disrupted traffic on Manhattan’s FDR Drive. Nearly 18 million people across the East Coast, including in Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, remain under flood warnings.
