Extreme Temperatures Claim 15 Lives in India

Record heats of up to 53 degrees resulted in deaths in India. At least 15 people died due to heatstroke in the last 24 hours in the states of Bihar and Odisha. Odisha government has banned outdoor events between 11.00-15.00 due to extreme heat. Authorities said that the death toll may increase once the causes deaths are determined.
