F-35 fighter jet crashes at US airbase

An F-35 fighter jet crashed while landing on the runway at Hill Air Force Base in the US state of Utah after taking off for a training flight. The pilot ejected from the jet and survived. According to the airbase, the pilot was taken to a nearby medical center for observation. An investigation has been launched into the cause of the accident.
