An object resembling a handgrenade placed on a sidewalk in the Beylikdüzü district of Istanbul, Türkiye, caused panic. The object was taken by bomb disposal teams who arrived at the scene upon citizens’ notification and was taken to the police station for examination and detected to be an imitation with no explosives inside.
The police have launched an operation to catch the suspect who placed the bomb on the sidewalk.
