With the start of the mid-year break, citizens of Bursa flocked to the area that was turned into a sledding facility in Güzlek District Aktepe by Akyazı Municipality. The moments when everyone from age 7 to 70 had fun at the facility, created colorful images.
“My father brought me here after I got my report card. I built a snowman, and now I’m sledding. I’m having a lot of fun here,” said 9-year-old Rüveyda Aslan.
“My children are very happy. We would have been happier if there was more snow, but this is enough too. I went to Kartepe and Kartalkaya before, and this place is no different from them. The municipality will hold a sleigh festival here in the upcoming weeks, and I invite everyone to come here,” said Halim Aslan, Rüveyda’s father.
