Vitaly Imanov and his son Sergey, a Ukrainian living in Odessa, went to the Al-Salam Mosque and stated that he wanted to convert to Islam. The Ukrainian father and son converted to Islam by bringing the word Shahada after giving information about the principles of Islam in the presence of the mosque community.
Imanov said in a statement, “I have been thinking about converting to Islam for a long time, but now I have decided. As the last religion, Allah sent us this religion. That’s why I accepted it. There is a lot of information in this religion and I learned it.”
Sergey, Imanov’s son, said, “I decided to accept Islam, but I did not know how to do it. My family helped me in this matter. I am very happy that I made this decision today and accepted Islam.”
